Reserve Coach

​Siobhan Hall

Susan has been an active member of the sport of baton twirling for 29 years in many different roles. She started twirling at the age of 7 years old and finally finished her twirling career 16 years later. She has achieved many great goals along the way including Parade Corps leader 4 times, Floor Corps leader 4 times, Provincial Champion and Athlete of the Year twice in the Pairs category and was a member of he Provincial Bronze Medal WBTF Team. She has also held many positions on both the Provincial and National Board of Directors. Susan is excited to introduce a new generation to this wonderful sport full of skill development, friendships and lots of fun!

Shammarah was a twirler for 17 years and has acquired many titles at Provincial, National and International levels in both individual and group events. She competed at the 2006 World Baton Twirling Championships International Cup in Rome, Italy where she places 7th in the Adult Solo division - one of her greatest accomplishments. She is currently a level 2 CBTF coach with several years of training in ballet and jazz. Shammarah loves baton and is excited to pass on her knowledge in the sport of baton twirling to future generations as Assistant Coach with Defying Gravity.​​

Siobhan was a twirler for 20 years and has acquired many titles at Provincial and National levels in both individual and group events. She was also the Junior Woman Athlete of the Year in 1999 & 2000, the 2002 & 2007 Miss Majorette of Ontario and the Level B Freestyle Gold Medalist in 2001, 2002, 2004 & 2005. She was also a member of Team Canada in 2007 at the World Baton Twirling Championships International Cup in the 2-Baton & 3-Baton events. She served as well on the OBTA board of directors as Athlete's Rep & Secretary. Siobhan loves baton and continues in the sport as a CBTF certified Judge and reserve coach with Defying Gravity.

Kelly was an active baton twirler for over 15 years and has acquired many Provincial and Canadian championship titles in group and individually.  After her career she still remained an active member of the twirling community serving on the OBTA board of directors and being the number one fan of this great sport by attending many competitions to cheer on fellow twirlers. Kelly is excited to share this amazing sport with a new generation of twirlers and hopes that they experience everything that this sport has given her and more.
